The previous generation Renaultsport Megane would suit me just fine as my affordable (relatively) dream car.
I'd love an R26 or similar.

^^^Very nice, alot of these cars do track days so they must be good.

Yes, I did that (buy an alternate dream car).
I prefer Mopars such as the '69 Dodge Coronet R/T (with 440 engine) and '69 Dodge Super Bee (with 383 engine). But those are selling for a lot of money. So I bought a '66 Plymouth Fury (VIP) with the 383 engine. I get to enjoy a Mopar with a big-block engine without the very high "entrance fee." Also a bit of nostalgia because one of my brothers owned a '66 Plymouth Fury for 22 years.
'76 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five Limousine, '95 Lincoln Town Car.
I would love a Porsche 911 GT2 (997) but lets just say I can only afford £25,000 - £35,000, so my immediate alternative choice would be an R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R.
^^^ Or a second hand high millage 911 carrera S (997)
