I just realised I could have bought a (bad) real car instead of this...

I just realised I have spent $700 on my Suzuki Cappuccino for the arcade driving game, Initial D version 3. The cards below are used or invalid Initial D cards for my Capp. (50 plays per card, $2 AU per play = $700 for 7 cards).

Oh well, you only live once. Also, if you're wondering, all of the people who know me call me John (John is my middle name) despite the fact my name is Mark. To be honest, it's a stupid joke which has been around since one of my crazy ex-high school teachers used to call me John instead of Mark. Since then, John has become my nick name.

I know many UCP members do not know about the game Initial D version 3 so this youtube video will show you what the game actually looks like. HKS driving the Suzuki Cappuccino on the expert course, Shomaru Outbound wet and Inbound dry.

i think arcade games are a waste, they are way too expensive to play continuously. When it comes down to it, you probably could have bought the machine for that price and played all you wanted... thats kinds funny actually

Source - Wikipedia (web link below)

In Initial D Arcade Stage players race against different opponents in various mountain passes featured in the manga. Players can choose what car and the customization he wants and save the these data and game progress into a magnetic card system that players can buy. From this way after every game the progress can be saved rather than lost. The player can also save his progress on one card and continue on another Initial D cabinet using that card. However, the card must be renewed every 50 plays.

IIRC, Manga is an Asian comic. This game, Initial D version 3 is based on the Initial D anime which is really a Asian/Japanese cartoon or animation series.

That's a lot of money to be spent on just an arcade game. Maybe you should think about budgeting yourself more efficiently to stop yourself from using so much money.
