You can draw and it can even be used as a mouse. You move the pen over the tablet and the cursor moves, once you make contact with the tablet it draws/clicks, etc.. My wife can use it pretty well, it's pretty amazing what you can do with it.

Actually, Sony loves to do that. Think PS3... it was completely useless when it came out.

I have no idea how that mad face got in, I didn't intend it, but it seemed you looked it over anyway.

At B and H, it's only about $219 USD. If you buy the imported (no warrantee version) it's even cheaper.

    Nikon | 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED AF-S VR DX Autofocus Lens | 2166

Not sure if they ship worldwide, but considering you're paying with Euros, it's probably less.

I find B and H usually has good prices on things.

B and H is considerably cheaper. Try shipping it overseas maybe?

I might think about a 70-300 VR. But then I also want the 105 Micro Nikkor. But that's a $700 lens.

Any reason you pick Sony over any other companies? I think it might be because you have lenses from Minolta.

Yup, no problem. The prices that Street Dreamer posted up scared the crap out of me, they're in Euros!

The problem with that is taxes and import duties. Customs intercept almost anything, especially photogear. FedEx, DHL and the likes always declare everything to customs as well. Import duties and tax is 30% here. So most of the time it isn't worth it..

Otherwise I'd be getting all of my lenses in the US

On a related note: I just bought this today:

Nikkor 80-200 2.8D. Second hand, like new, was bought by some guy this year only to exchange it for a 70-200VR a few months later. So it's brand new. And they gave me a 1 year warranty to go along with it. The optional HB-7 hood was included as well.
    €799

Yep, I have 8 lenses for Minolta.....right now it doesn't seem like as much of a dead end system now. With A900 out there is a full-frame upgrade path. And tons of new lenses out from Sony...problem being they are all kinda expensive...

Hopefully I'll be able to add/replace a couple of lenses in my bag. I want a new wide angle zoom, and maybe a faster 70-200 zoom....

Whoa......... 30% is not worth it then, after that they charge shipping too. Not too cheap afterwards.

Wow, 80-200. That's amazing. What camera body do you use, btw?

I see. Did they charge for the firmware update by the way? I know Nikon did for the firmware update for the D3 buffer.

I said £135... which is around $240 anyway...
You might mean Lagonda, who said "€ 240 over here. List price is €389."

Oh, and i also want the 105 Nikkon, but from Amazon, it still costs £490. Too much for a complete amateur like me. Such a nice lens though

Useless or not I'm not the one who is 22 years old, unemployed, lives with his mother and is his girlfriend's slave.
