Can be a mistake in translation, sorry if it is. Was there today.
Going there I've got some thoughts like 'Ohh, there gonna be just Volgas and nothing more', but, fortunately, I was mistaken. A good amount of great and rare cars were present.
Not only rally has been held at the event. While participants hit a 100 kilometers through the roads, I visited a Museum of Technics placed near to start/finish point. Never thought of seeing four different Delahayes in one place at one time . But I did. Happily. A bit earlier I figured out that the service was open, went there and found a brilliant Cadillac V16 in it...
The next aim was to see a slalom among rally participants. Wow! Looking at Mercedes-Benz 600 or Cadillac Eldorado steering so hard was awesome. Moreover, some older cars were present on slalom, like Buick 44 or Lagonda LG45. Screaming tyres, screaming securities ('Where the f*** are you going?' )...
Concorso d'Eleganza was kept after the rally finished. Some really good cars, too. But I shot them before, at parking place, so, unfortunately, I have all my memory card already wasted when they started to be presented...
And now pics... What about pics... Unfortunately, my stupid cam is slowly dying and leaving a bad memory of itself. It becomes simply horrible. It doesn't keep focus anymore, it can't catch moving objects and so on. But, nevertheless, I'll post some pics that were 'better' (forgive me this word here).
So, 1935-1942 and then 1946-1950 Mercedes-Benz W136 170V Cabriolet.
