Out of those 2 i'd probably take the GS300, but given free reign i'd be looking at a Subary Liberty/Legacy GT or a Mazda6 MPS

I took the TL for me. I'd rather get a product from Honda although I wouldn't mind anything from another Japanese company. How come you didn't use the GS430? Is it because of HP reasons to keep it competitive?

The GS is the better car but I don't think the ten thousand dollar price difference is justifiable. I'd go for the TL. Neither car here is a full-on sports sedan so the GS' RWD isn't really a advantage in how I'd run these cars. The TL's FWD actually makes it more versatile for wet/snow...

    Ditto.

The present GS300 is looks boring, and the IS350 makes it alittle irrelevant. The TL is boring too even with the 6sp man, this design didn't age well. The G35 sedan is also looking dated as well.

The G35 is to be replaced this year, isn't it?

As for the GS300, not really sure why Europe and the US are stuck with that engine, which is definitely too weak for a car of such weight. Hope the Japanese GS350 emerges in Europe and the US soon, looks like a much better prospect. Looking forward to seeing how the hybrid does, some 3-4 weeks to delivery
