It may be in Z4 and SLK territory, but if it looks like the 2uettottanta it should sell like crazy

    I can only say...

    GOOD!

Fiat flare plus Mazda performance = what will probably be a dandy little thing.

    Officially official.

Mazda and Fiat finalize deal for Alfa roadster, next-gen MX-5 Miata

2015 feels very far away though...

If it looks like their new concept, I think the pricing won't be so bad. Especially if it has driving dynamics to match the cool looks.

    Which new concept?

And, since it will share its chasis with the driving dynamics will be there, unless Fiat decides to ruin it.

That will never happen - it was just some photoshop on a Duettottanta picture by a german car magazine.

Sounds turbocharged, which has me internet-worried.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

    That's what Jalopnik was saying.

But then that's not the last time Mazda has made a turbo Miata.

Do you remember the Mazdaspeed Miata?

I would say it is unlikely... Mazda being a small company won't develop engines specifically for the MX-5.

    Unless they use Fiat's.

    New Miata is out!

2016 Mazda Miata: This Is It

    The headlights look weird...

I hope the Fiat/Alfa Romeo version looks better.

I think the problem with the front isn't the headlights, it's maybe too fish mouthed- probably a result of crash test regulations.

    Edit-

Here Are The First Official Pics Of The 2016 Mazda Miata

More photos- I think I figured out what's wrong with it- the proportions are weird. There's a lot of sheetmetal between the wheel and the fenders, on the front and back. It's not ugly, but it looks ungainly.

It's growing on me the more I stare at it. I think I need to see it in the flesh. The front lamp treatment still seems a little try-hard, but otherwise I think I like it.

I really like it! (Surprise Surprise; a man on the internet likes the Miata!)

I wonder if anyone will take out the "EPAS" rack and put in a hydraulic one from an NA, B, or C.
