    factory 1955 long-nose car : 24 H Le Mans, spare car; used by factory for testing Pl; Silverstone, Fairman, DNF; October, fitted with Engine n° E40019; Nurburgring 1000Kms, Frere Hamilton, DNF; used for testing at Reims, FrerefBueb; March 1957, fitted with Engine n° E3002-9: 1957 sold to Ecurie Ecosse; Spa, Lawrence; Nurburgring, Bueb/Lawrence; St Etienne, Lawrence, 2 OA ;'Monzanapolis', Sanderson, 6 OA; Spa, Sanderson; 1958, Sebring, Sanderson/Bueb. rel'd; Silverstone, Fairman; Nurburgring, Sanderson/Bueb; 24 H Le Mans, Fairman/Gregory, DNF; Goodwood, TT, Gregory/lreland, 4 OA; 1958 sold to Salmon; repainted; 1961 Snetterton Three Hours, 1 OA; 1962 sold to Peter Sutcliffe; 1963 Snetterton, accidented; car was sent to factory for repair. Then he received frame from XKD 505 purchased from Charles; 1965 sold to Corner; Griffiths Formula historic racing. Used as road car; 1981 sold to Paul Vestey ; rebuilt by Lynx with new frame, XKD 505 frame removed and sold to Bill Lake; used for Mille Miglia twice with Hamilton as codriver; 1991 Spa, Nigel Corner; Magny Cours, Gary Pearson, accidented; 1994 original frame purchased from Peter Sutcliffe & refitted; Paul Vestey - 2000 : sold to USA

    Can tell me about this one Pete, took it back in July.

    And is it just a coinsidence that they both have the scottish flag?

    No coincidence.

    The "Ecurie Ecosse" team was a Scottish team based in Edinburgh.
    The St Andrews cross is their team emblem.

    BUT this car is a replica !!
    The REAL cars were either MWS or RFS plates, NEVER OFS

    EDIT" A little bit of digging and it IS a fibreglass replica built in 1990.
    NOT the same as a "real" one
