if its reputation is anything to go by you will never be bored keeping this car together. , (which then rewards you pretty well I hope)

Maybe 6 years ago.... it's been a battle with the scrapyard ever since.....

The brakes/suspension have been overhauled, engine/clutch renewed, interior retrimmed, now i have found big rust holes and the ecu/battery/alternater have justy melted, it also needs a respray.

When it goes its a buzz.... knocks you back in the seat and sounds great
    ....maybe next year....
HEY SMURF, HEY SMURF, HEY SMURF PUT THAT BOOM IN IT!!!

Nice! Any chance of some more pics? Also; where's the stereo gone? Was it stolen by a thieving chav or was it just sold in aid of the upkeep of the car?

It a "drawer" stereo. One of those you take home with to make sure you don't loose the stereo and win a window in pieces.
Money can't buy you friends, but you do get a better class of enemy.

i cant really put a peice of paper of the shelby's shifter because its more like a T than a knob (its an auto). is there another place i could put the peice of paper that would be satisfactory?
    My rides:
    1999 Mustang GT

1974 Ford Country Squire (for sale!)

    1991 Jeep Cherokee

    1970 Shelby GT500

Thanks, being pre-evo it doesn't stand out in the crowd, my wifes car only has a tape player so with the 'grale off the road the stereo goes into her car..... i'm not one of those people who don't believe in having a stereo in their car, (I know some lancia people who feel this way) quite the opposite... decent tunes can enhance the driving experience.... especially its LOUD!

I was following the Violet Lambo from Glasgow to Perth.... what a drive... he never gave it too much thou, just as well as i would have blown up trying to keep with him.

It is a small family hatchback which was modified for rally purposes by Lancia after the Group B super cars were outlawed.

It has a 2.0 liter turbocharged motor with an advanced differential 4wd system.
In standard form in 1987 (first year of manufacture) it had 185bhp, weighing 1200kg. 0-60 was 6.57sec top speed 133mph. Quite respectable in '87.
I had planned to keep it stock but i started to get beaten by fast old cars which was more embarrasing than the ricers (escort mk2 with cossie power comes to mind) so I have now modded mine with a BWE chip, Abarth High lift cam and a few more bits n pieces, it should be pushing at least 260hp now

Should I prove my '90 Corolla?
A nice little thing, gets us from Point A to B, white and MANUAL
I don't drive anyway so its actually no use. But if its here long enough I can learn how to drive in it
    BUT - 1.3L, but just 120kph/4000rpm MAX
I sometimes go to sleep on just 20 minute journeys because of how slow it is...
Oh well, I'll post some pics if anybody wants to see, its clean ATM so it won't look so bad
