SERIOUSLY ....getting "road timings" specs for the Alpine and ESPECIALLY the Le Mans race variant is murder I keep wanting to add the Venturi top end but it's hard to find comparisons/facts that give insight into the benefits/drawbacks. SOme of us DID take his opening statement at it's word
Anything French is considered in some circles as a non-supercar by definition, Venturi? What's that? Something underneath a racing car?

Indeed, how can you also name the 288 GTO without first mentioning the 250 GTO?

Hopefully not "riddance", as it wodl be great if he was here and was able to contribute sensibly.

Key words, "contribute sensibly". From what I've read his attitude is appalling, and none of it is justified since he hasn't added value to this forum yet. Maybe he will, I'm guessing he won't.

Founded by Italians, living in a geographical area which has been German and French alternatively, doesn't make it full French either. It's an Italo-Franco-Germanish company.

    That said, I love Venturis.

    And so on.

It was just another jk about the Bug's nationality, and an opportunity to state my favorite non main stream French company of the modern era.
