The Hayabusa/R1 thread got me thinking about bikes now. Post some pics of your favorite motorcycles. The performance of modern sportbikes is insane. For $10,000 you can get a bike thats pretty much faster than any car.

Well, I'm more of a chopper guy. Torquey like you wouldn't believe, oozing with style, loaded with the lumpy single-pin crank V-twin sound and best of all, they are usually custom, or at least semi-custom.

First one is a long fork chopper, I forget who makes it...I think it's a Bourget's Bike Works model. Second is probably the best looking bike I have ever seen (and currently me favorite bike), it's a MidWest Choppers ProStreet with an extended frame and a dropped seat. Gives me a bikegasm. And the last one is my former favorite, the BBW Beach Cruiser.

Of the production bikes, I like the 'Busa 1300, Yamaha V-Max, Suzuki SV650, Honda Magna (no longer in production, sadly) and the Honda Gold Wing, as well as most of the Harley models (especially the Heritage Softail Springer...talk about gorgeous). I also am a sucker for naked bikes, all the neck-snapping performance of the sportbikes, but better looking IMHO without all the plastic, and probably also cheaper and maybe even quicker with the fairing diet, too.

the benelli Titanium looks better than the rest. i think ive seen a Kawasaki ninja before. yesterday i saw the bmw C1, the bike with the roof.

I'd love to have a Ninja. My uncle used to have one and he took me 90mph on it in his neighborhood. I was 5 years old then, and I still remember it. The Buell bikes are nice, they have the V-Twin engines and sounds in a sport bike package. I saw a AMA motorcycle race and it was funny hearing the Buell go by because you'd hear all these high pitched engine notes and then a loud, low rumble when the Buell went by. Awesome stuff!
