Is a crewman model confirmed? I'd assume that it'd be LWB.

Doubtful. The Crewman was based on the one tonner, not the ute, and without the former confirmed they'd have nothing to build it off.

Well, it was based off the Statesman as well so they could make another one.

Well the Statesman bits were mainly the floorplan. You're still left without the rear bulkhead and frame rails unless you want to make a 4 door ute this time, rather than a 4 door cab chassis.

Yes, its best not to leave incorrect info unamended. I did indeed see the pic which ADRENALINE has duped up

Well it was rumoured originally they were going to offer a SWB AND LWB ute, although i think theyve since denied it.

In the latest Wheels magazine, in the Bill Tuckey column he is saying that all VZ models will be phased out, which means no ute or wagon. Dont know if its true or not... heres a scan of the article.

That's a fairly conclusive affirmation of VE ute!

The rear wheel arch looks inconsistent with the spy shots. Perhaps the reflection is fooling me.

That doesn't seem right, it gives Ford a simple upper hand. Ford could appeal to families and tradies, while Holden just couldn't...Outside the Rodeo bracket.
