perhaps others should adopt the practice of breaking wind during a service? Can also be seen as a great relieve for many.

well, anything that may help to enhance performance can be discusses isn't it? (I haven't even thought of combining the two...)

    valid point.

THE most natuiral physical response in the human body in it's "fight or flight" process to ensure maximum capacity for both is "evacuation".

So maybe we let them piss, shit and puke as well on court ?

I see no reason why not, but the frequency of such activities would be very low during one match, so the benefits gained might not be very high. This may require further study though.

Pieter, you seem to be letting the Australian in you out of the closet.

"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

Is the Australian more inclined to carry out groundbreaking research than anybody else?

really? is that why patrick rafter and stefan edberg had shortened careers because their shoulders gave out from dishing out kick serves?

I laugh at tennis players. Their yelling back and forth across the court is pretty priceless. And its always overdone as well.

I remember playing/doing tennis as one of our P.E. courses in the 11th grade. That was just as awesome as badminton. I played it in complete silence as well. Having those grunts sounds like a really bad case of constipation.

I grunt at tennis players. Or rather, used to... I thought it was supposed to be call and response.
The restraining order put an end to that.
