I want to try that "progressive pedal mod" for the G25, basically putting a piece of hard rubber into the brake pedal. The sight that used to sell that rubber doesn't seem to be selling it. I wonder if anyone has suggest to use otherwise...

I use just socks, I find that any socks is better than bare feet since the bare feet tend to stick on the pedals after some sweat. When I just got the G25 I thought the pedal spring might be strong enough to use shoes, but it is still not quite enough, and also I think most of these boxed game pedals are spaced too closely(probably for packaging reason and cost), my feet can jam against each other wearing shoes, even something like Puma....DFP was definitely too soft by comparison....,

Looked at the mod. This one? Right now my pedals are flat to the floor. If I mount them at an angle it will probably be better...

There's a device I have on my G25 which is well worth the money. It adds resolution to the brake pedal on sim pedals. Works wonders in iRacing and GTR2/Evo which are the sims I frequent.

Here's a link to the latest firmware for it, it really helped.
