So, I found this fantasy F1 type site that looks kind of interesting.
Grand Prix Racing Online
I created an account just to give it a spin and see if it's anything worth getting into. Has anyone else here seen this?

World of warcraft has come to motorsports
-Fundamentals are a crutch for the talentless.
-I thought the blacks in Baltimore were bad, shit, they’re nothing compared to these fags you got here in San Francisco…haha.
-Kenny Powers
More like the old SimCity games I used to play as a kid.
I completed my first race at Imola. I qualified 18th out of 24 and finished in 12th. I would have finished in 5th but a poor fuel strategy forced me to pit on lap 58 of 62. Not bad for not knowing what the hell I was doing.
I kind of like it, it's very analytical (which suits me ). Like I said it reminds me of the old SimCity where you have to manage your money and team, and you really have to strategize on how to approach the race. They've really added a lot of elements to implement the strategy* in managing the team, such as: testing, car setups, parts upgrades and replacements, driver contracts, driver and pit crew stats, sponsorship contracts, etc. It's not time consuming at all and it's not too difficult to understand once it all comes together. It seems like a unique alternative to Forza 2 and GTR and there is a very large community. If you like games like SimCity then you may find this interesting and should at least give it a try.
