    bought a hairdresser's car, but...

at least it works in the winter too!

Hey guys . Just wanted to show off my latest impulse buy. I traded in the C class a week ago for it. Its got my favorite color combo, has 5 speed, but unfortunately only the 180 horse version. I'm having plenty of fun in it though, and it holds its own on our currently snowy mountain twisties. Its pretty decent on gas too, although not as good as its other 1.8T engined brothers and sisters, because it does have the extra burden of quattro. I took the pics on my iphone, so I hope they look alright. Cheers from B.C, and happy new year to everyone!

I deeply prefer the TT mk1 over the mk2, and I strongly believe this is a more suitable car for a young playboy link you. The C was fine, just a bit too much Mercedes, you know...
Over here the TT didn't have the "additional" bumper, the whole car looks sleeker, so you may want to consider an Euro specs set of bumpers...

Congrats on your own Christmas present

You have lost ALL the respoect I once had for you
Don't care if it snows, you'd have been better hibernating for 3 months with a decent car rather than driving around in that

thanks for all your replies, friends .
Leon, its funny that you'd mention the euro spec bumper for this thing. The other day, my irish friend says to me "that's got to go", pointing at the "additional" bumper. "I'll bet you the european version doesn't have that. Only the North American laws would specify something so hideous to be built into a car." . Sure enough!
I'll see what I can find online.

Not a car I like that much Rob, but I was never a fan of your C class so definitely an improvement.

    How many kilometres?

Very Nice Rob, love Audi TTs. It may 'only' have 180bhp at the moment but there are plenty of options for making it faster if you so wish eh? My Dad's boss had 2 mk1 TTs and my uncle still has his 01 Roadster 225, won't sell it, loves the thing, last I heard it was at 350bhp and 350NM, not bad going for a 1.8!

Attached is the Euro bumper, the US/Canadian bumper looks a bit odd.

I'm still undecided between mk1 and mk2, both appeal to me, either TT is on my list of possible cars after Uni (funds providing).

Very nice indeed and congrats, but would hardly call it a "hairdresser's" car... that's the SLK.

At least that has the correct wheels driven.

Yea, if you have a second vehicle to back you up when the going gets tough, or you live in California. Won't argue that rwd owns the show on the track, but for daily life I'd reconsider.

Congrats on taking the next step and getting rid of that two-pedaled, women’s cruiser.
