Audi e-tron Spyder Concept 2010

I actually like the new design direction. Everything is better than their current copy-and-paste design. Looks futuristic. Sadly Audi will not have the balls to build something like this because of their fear to loose their current target customers with new, actually inspiring design. Which is why this will somehow turn into a bland, boring fwd roadster for the usual Audi-buying machos.
If you don't like the hybrid thing, you're not alone. But then, you can be very sure that the hybrid system won't make it to serial production.

Production doubtful, but I like it.

Would I take it over R8 Spyder? Maybe...Maybe not...

Very many motoring press/websites seem to go against hybrids, but car makers just make more and more of those dreaded creatures.

It's a technology in the making, so let's be optimistic for now...

And this spyder looks a lot better than the coupe e-tron. The coupe is actually hideous.

From what I recall, Audi got a new American bloke to lead their design department? Kinda explains the hideous new cars lately. Except for the R8 Variations. They keep getting better.
