"As I walk through the valley of rice I shall fear no turbo, for torque art with me and the enemy is fat."
i think a Z06 in Aus brand new is around 220K plus on roads. What does a Z06 cost in the states and in Europe on road roughly?
RUF CTR Yellowbird is what dreams are made of
It's gonna be close. It really depends on the final figure for peak hp from the LS9. Right now it's supposed to be 620 hp. The only place where it isn't close is peak torque.
The question is will the ZR1 have the handling of the CGT?
Finally, these two engines are very dissimilar and although comparing them is fun, it is not necessarily indicative of which is superior. The M80 is DOHC and relies on high revs for power and is smaller, while the LS9 is pushrod and uses a supercharger for power and is larger.
Each design has it's advantages and disadvantages.
