Looks like the pre-facelift 997 GT3 RS cue got transplanted to the base GT3....certainly looks "racier"...

To me, it looks straight out of the '90s.

That's all that needs to be sacred in a car like this.

I agree with most of the above statements. I think overall it is not too bad. It does look like they took the 90's or earlier style and updated it for today's world. Personally I hate when companies keep bringing the old 'look' of cars to today's market. Some companies can pull it off, but others do a terrible job.

But back to this car. I do like like the interior as well. Porsche kept it pretty simple, and yet still made it look good. Having said all that, I was expecting a bit more from Porsche, but I can live with this.

I guess the rear lights aren't as pretty as the old GT3.

Oh well. It's still recognizable as a 911.

And by the way, is this the last verson of the 996-997? How many more facelifts are they going to do?

    I like it.
I'm holding off judgement on the styling 'til I see it in a better color, but looks notwithstanding it'll be crazy fun to drive.

Why you put together 996 and 997? They are totally different cars, nothing to do with facelifts, aren´t they?

Actually I really like the rims. Love to see the car in black with black rims...

    Because they're the water-cooled 911s (?)

    Because a 997 is a highly modified 996.

    Do want.

Why are we even discussing styling features in such a focused car?

In the same way the 993 was a heavily modified 911.

Wheels are the least of the car's problems.

Because for $140K I don't want to drive something that looks ridiculous. What do you want to bet reviewers say they like the old GT3 more?
