    The Lancer is Gone....

    ...thank christ! About bloody time!

So it's been replaced by this:

91 Subaru L-series Sportswagon. 320,000km, but it's in immaculate condition. Only cost $2200 plus $600 for 12 months rego.

Though this isn't the exciting bit, that's coming Thursday

Those graphics must add at least 20 bhp!
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Yep, and the roof racks add extra downforce in traffic

    1) It was cheap 2) It's in immaculate condition 3) Again, cheap 4) These old Subaru's go forever anyway 5) Come Thursday, it won't really be driven that much other than rainy/freezing cold days and when I need to cart stuff around.

    Congratulations 2ndclasscitizen.

We'll see if my 1982 Honda Civic or your 91 Subaru L-series Sportswagon lasts longer.

May the best Japanese car win.

    Are you serious ?

Sure, they are reliable. But I would never ever think of buying a car with 320k on the clock. A diesel maybe, but surely not a petrol engine.

But then again, 2200AUD is cheap indeed and if you don't drive a lot it could work out very well.

It doesn't seem to be a daily driver either

There's some good ground clearance, it looks like a fun car to take out at 3 in the morning on a snow day and test out donuts in an abandoned parking lot.

It looks very clean for a 320.000km car...
