    I'd hit that.

Looks good, lets see if it performs as advertised.

    Well I meant like these.
As you see they are "OK" for small children and not much else.
I'm presuming the S woudl be the same.

Indeed I think this is like the ordinary version of the Karma, whit the characteristic big rear fenders from Fisker, and a polite front grille.
I would go for the Karma personally, but this ain't bad, especially considering the price. Just wondering on the interior though.
Actually Fiskar didn't design this car, he designed the car that was going to be the Tesla 'White Star' sedan before Fiskar pissed him off.

The former designer of the Mazda Furai designed the Tesla S.

The lawsuit was about Tesla accusing Fiskar of taking the design job to gain access to Tesla's technology...then Fiskar was off to start his own company.

yeah, but the Tesla is a sedan, not an estate.
you are going to to fold the kids when closing the rear door.

first of all, is Fisker, not Fiskar.
then, here is the final document of the lawsuit with all the dates and facts (attached).
Musk closed the relationship with Fisker on November 8, 2007, as you can read at page 5.
Now, even if the Model S isn't going to be sold before of the 2010/2011 I would assume a lot of tests and development has still to be done, but designing a car in just one year or so can't allow for any good data to rely on during the remaining time, therefore the whole style and design could change a lot. So what would be the point of showing a car which is likely going to look pretty different? Raising money and avoiding bankruptcy, of course.
I never read though who designed this Model S, and I would assume Franz von Holzhausen (former Mazda's designer, now in charge at Tesla) has been there since too little time to design this.
IIRC he resigned from Mazda at the end of last summer or so, while the Model S' design is ready since at least the beginning of the this year, with the first teaser released about a month ago.

Looking at the height at the point where the kids heads would be and the clearly low entry height for the boot then I reckon there is MORE space than in the old Volvo estate.
    We'll see.
Logic however woudl raise the obvious consideartion ... if it's NOT 2 rearward kids seats then where ARE they getting 2 more seats
