    haha.

little update... we had the 12 week ultrasound (actually we have had 3 of them already). all 3 of them, and mama, are healthy, and all of their little arms were waving around like they were having a big ass party in there. honestly that grainy little image is one of the most amazing things i have ever seen.

from here on out we will be going to a specialist hospital, and we may get the 3d ultrasounds and could even get videos. so i'll post some cool pics when we get some.

That's really great news... although one imagines "big ass party" not something your wife would use to describe what she's experiencing.
In seriousness, this kind of experience must realign the planets for you both. Just curious... triplets seem a rare occurance; is it possible to know if they are fraternal or identical yet?

they are rare, unless you get help conceiving. even with the help, the probability of it is about .005, so not exactly common, but 1 in 200 isnt really rare.

ours are fraternal, which is easy to see on the ultrasound. all of them are in separate sacs.

and planet realignment is to say the least.

    Great to hear pokey.

The first image of them must have been an absolutely magic moment.

I'm not dead either, although this is the first time I've logged on in months.

Congratulations, pokey. Our next door neighbors are expecting twins (they already have one child) and planning on buying a Sienna to join their Prius and Rav4. As long as you don't get a Sienna, you've got them beat in every way. Three is greater than 2 and any RX-7 is cooler than any Prius.

Better yet, forget the minivan and get a classic 9-passenger station wagon.
