might be getting a new car

yeah, me and my Parents are considering buying a Ford Taurus, because A) a Ford Dealer is offering a screaming good deal, and b) we thought it would be cheaper to buy a new car than to keep putting money into the lemon van to keep it operatible, we don't know if we will buy one, but we are looking at buying it.

Because they offer some innovate designs, and I am impressed about how reliable my dads Escort is.

innovative? I'm not going to get into that.

For an Undemanding driver, the Taurus should fit into your life well. Just don't expect to remember it ten years later.....

I care to disagree, Consumer reports claims that the Taurus has carried a long even reliability record, plus the fact that the old Taurus' are still on teh road.

But I do agree that the Taurus is not the most exciting car in the world, but it's comfortable, quiet, and there is enough rear leg room for me so i'll be comfortable on long road trips (we know for sure, becasue we used reated Taurus' all the time for long road trips), and if the Taurus has ample legroom for me, then it must be pretty roomy, becasue i'm very tall.

My dad's taurus has 180,000miles replaced the transmission and waterpump and it's still going. Good luck on the deal.

You've raised reliability (Something which I did not care to mention) as an example of innovation. wow, thats like a Fleet Change-of-subject.

Wheres the technical prowess, the 500 might be boring but at least it has CVT.

Good luck on the deal, no doubt Ford needs more undiscerning consumers to peddle it's products to.

You mean your parents are considering buying a Ford Taurus.

And why get a Taurus, talk them into getting something a bit more exciting.

The only reason we are considering a Taurus is becasue a Ford Dealer is giving us an extremely good deal. And I didn't use reliability as a example of ijnnpvation, but I like some of teh features, like teh keypad on teh door to get you in if you locked your keys inside, or the bench seat that has a console that folds out of it.

Plus, if I haven't stated this earlier, my dad used to own a Taurus (1989) and it ran faithfully. The only reason we sold it is becasue since we bought teh lemonvan, all it was doing was sitting and rotting in the front of the driveway.

I never really thought teh Five Hundred was boring, but my dad hates it (only becasue he gets spoiled with his rentals, because he gets Infinitis and the such), but I wasn't really impressed by the fit and finish, because it felt a bit plasticy, but I heard that Ford fixed all that.

I'm guessing your getting a good deal on the taurus because it's being phased out, theres some more milking to be done in that case. See what you can get.

most Cars these days have a console that comes out of the rear bench seat..... but their handy to have.

then get an infiniti, something like a G20 or I35 with its top quality high rated engine

not the rear, the front. What happens is that the sseat bottyem folds out to a CD holder, cupholders, and some cubbys, and the back part folds down into a armrest.
    before

    after

or you can order the premium package and get a conventional console like this.

and as far as I know, teh Taurus/Sable are the only cars that do that.

and teh deal s so good, we might not need to milk it, but we can try haggling.

we can't afford an infiniti, if we weren't gtting such a good deal on the Taurus, we wouldn't be considering buying a new car at all.
