    Yep, plenty of people have them, Summernats was won this year by a Datto 510 with a S/C SR20.

    sweet. what gains can i make from the S instead of the T?

    i know it wont be as peaky, but will it create less power?

    Good questions, don't really know. It probably won't be as delicate as a nearly 400kw T, but I think superchargers, especially centrifugal ones like on this car, aren't as good as doing high boost as turbos. I've heard people say an S/C is running 22psi and that's a heap for a s/c engine, whereas it's not so huge with a turbo. OF course I'm not 100% on any of that so feel free to correct me anyone.

    S?c engines will work better down low than a turbo engine, if your after moderate boost from a s/c (6-12psi), you could probably be able to run stock comp pistons, you would probably need a programable ecu an definely bigger injectors as with the s/c the stock injectors would be working at close to 100% duty cycle.

    with an S/C doesn't your fuel economy go to shit?
    not that i've ever considered supercharging the B18a. ahem. nooo.

    No actually. Of course if you flog it'll use more juice, but during normal driving, a supercharger will give you better economy.

    oh and BTW the nissan designation for "supercharged" is "Z" so its a SR20DEZ...

    Get a 1UZ conversion...
