    BMW V12 LMR (Williams) 1999-2000

    BMW V12 LMR (Williams)

The BMW V12 LMR was a Le Mans Prototype built for sports car racing from 1999 to 2000. The car was built through an alliance between BMW Motorsport and WilliamsF1, and was the successor to the failed BMW V12 LM of 1998. It is famous for being BMW's only overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Dome S101 had it as well.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

I think it was only used for Le Mans - 1999. The 1998 machine is not shown in those pictures.
Should Comcast, which is buying NBC, have more motorsports coverage on VERSUS and now NBC? Does North America need a racing tv channel? Find the answer to that exact question on facebook.

The 1998 BMW entry was the LM (the predecessor to this).

The LMR was the first LM prototype i ever saw and i fell in love.

Although it was the art car by Jenny Holzer... any chance of getting pics of that?
