The great thing about bike shoes is they never wear, however i bought new cleats because the last time i realised i needed knew ones i couldn't clip out:

also recently, some brake fluid so i could bleed my brakes:

and for fun/security x-lite titanium skewars:

My bike is now down to 23lb weight now

Jediali: You should be using Time pedals, soooooo much better in the mud.

I also find my shoes rip apart after a few years, but wear isn't a big issue.

    X-Lite is bling though

Jesus, my bike weighs a f**king tonne!

I might start saving for a nice new road racer to replace the 80's Peugeot that I use in France in the summers and leave there...

i actually have the basic Shimano M520 pedals so your right about mud clearing and stuff. Shimano is a little cheaper but some nice atacs would be cool. I guess when i found a good deal on shoes i just went all shimano. x-lite is tinkering now.

    I was just joshing really.

Chips are a rip off here at Mc'ds. You can go to a chip shop and if you're prepared to wait 5 minutes get maybe 3 or 4 or 5 times the net weight or so of the mcdonalds chips that you would get at Mcdonalds. Taste better too especially with chicken salt. Choice.

I recently bought two Mars bars to home-deep fry. Worked surprisingly well. No trick to it!

Thankyou eBay - Ingrid (my darling car) has a Nokia Car Kit. I currently have a Sony Ericsson phone. this is a cheaper option than upgrading either car kit or my current plan - which runs out in like 5 months anyway. then i can get a free decent phone from my work
