    DO own:
DOG :One Bordercollie cross dalmation dog, 10 and a 1/2 years old.
CATS: Two cats a few years old. (miniature breed, look like half kittens)
BIRDS: Three bantam Chickens and one Bantam rooster
Wish to own: a 22 month old Whippet rescued from a violent puppyhood. (you can still see the marks on her neck from the wire that tied her down )
shes beautiful, but i have to wait till april and hope no other people adopt her before then.

pets stink the house out and are quite simply meant to stay in the wild, not in your living room. in my opinion.

I have 25 koi carp imported from japan.

At most I'd like a nice cat, not one that farts and moults everywhere.

2 horses, 2 rabbits, guinea pig and 2 goldfish.
Only 2 of them live outside

Trying to house-train a horse to crap/piss in a cat-tray could prove difficult

I also forgot the neighbours cat who seems to find the way in and live on top of the tumble drier in the outhouse and the dozens of field mice at the bottom of the garden - all who try to get in the house at various times. Can't find a mouse trap big enough to kill the bloody cat tho'

And finally "our" hedgehogs. At last count 3 families out there NOT a cuddly friend !!!!

    Pets no - friends yes

pic #1: part of the daily invasion, about 50 regulars of varying kinds including a Magpie that is now unafraid to walk right into the house
#2-3: Percy the Possum luxuriates on an apricot

not shown is Stumpy the Shingleback Lizard - a garden lurker as big as your forearm, but too shy for pics. I'd really like a house gecko but the southern winters here are a bit harsh. My motto? 'The only good cat is a flat cat'

Gecko, eh? My grandparents have a house in the West Palm Beach, Florida area, so, I spent many of my slightly younger Easters chasing those little bastards through gardens. That said, There is nothing quite like finding a gecko in the house; to me, they are, perhaps, the most exciting pest to have. There are no good cats.
Go n-ithe an cat thu, is go n-ithe an diabhal an cat
