    Top Gear 2008

I dont know about you lot but BBC2 8pm tonight sees the first episode of TG season 11 aired and I cant wait. All the more surprise for me since I only realised now.

    radio times:
After a six-month nap in the BBC garage, the irrepressible car jamboree returns for a new series. Preview DVDs were unavailable, but we're promised thrills of the "longer, stronger, faster and better" variety. Tonight, the trio set out to buy a "bargain-priced police cruiser," Jeremy Clarkson roars around in a Ferrari 430 Scuderia and the Reasonably Priced Car will play host to not one but two sets of celebrity buttocks, as Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr prepare to take to the racetrack. What's more, it seems there's a mysterious new member of the team, who, according to executive producer Andy Wilman, is "a bit like the Stig, but not like the Stig". Hold tight.
With the latest crackdown on where to talk crap I will be drivelling on about top gear in this thread. Happy watching.

I am pumped as well, sir. However, being in a country in which it doesn't air new episodes I can only hope someone posts it and posts it quick on a torrent.

Can't wait for it to air already !!! I've been on a bad detox from JC mentality and jokes
I am easily satisfied with the very best.

I think it would be cool if the new member was Sabine Schmitz.

Sabine will be in the new series at some point. According to spy photographs it looks as though they're doing some kind of UK vs Germany show at some point in the series.

I decided not to watch tonight's episode so that I could watch the Euro2008 quarter final. Boy do I regret that decision now! It's been a terrible game so far!

Praise the lord for the BBC iPlayer!

Is the game that bad? Big Bloody Brother has invaded our living room now.

Also, how long before TG is on the iPlayer? And does anyone know if they're going to do repeats mid-week?

Well in fairness the second half was better, but still not great.

Not sure about the iPlayer question, but I'm sure it'll be on at some point during the week. In past series they've always repeated it on a Tuesday evening, but the BBC is being completely overtaken with Wimbledon coverage for the next 3 weeks, so it's not going to be on midweek by the look of it.
