    Makes sense.

Was there any reason why the two cars were paired up to begin with?

That is AWESOME. Especially given the flight control issues with the full size model

Once you get over the BBC formal speech style and listen to the engines and watch the skills in keeping a rwd car flat out on gravel.
Or maybe it's just nostalgia. These were my early days.
and sadly the signs of the end of the Saab V4 fwd domination.
But still, a 911 perfromance car couldn't beat a family transport, and if you listen you find that - as usual - the 96s woudl roll and still complete
For the afficionados, there are two VERY short clips of the doomed Morris Marina rally program. THE worst conceived rally car in history.

I always had the feeling that the Merc Sprinter was a bit sportier than the other big commercial vans (on par with the legendary Transit van). But the most interesting thing is that the Van nearly overtakes a Lotus Elise

I'd say TYPICAL BLOODY WHITE VAN MAN DRIVER
Elise slowing down as motorbieks in front and knows it's safer to wait till the exit of ex-muhle ... meanwhile van-man oblivious to all his surroundings barrels on.

WHy I will NEVER ride my bike on the 'Ring

Yeah, I wouldn't be brave enough to ride a bike at the ring on an open day, either. But I'm not a serious sportbike enthusiast, so I'm confused as to whether to mock you or not.
