It has engines based on the 996, but not the same. They were more powerful and in the case of the Carrera S quite different. The Focus has exactly the same mechancials (new gearbox aside) as the previous one.

nitpicking which you have developed as an art in itself, the Focus also has a new economy version with a different engine ("based on the current one")....

There. Fixed. All standard Focus threads merged into one.

So, according to new policy, will there be a giant Volkswagen Golf thread then? Or a massive Mercedes-Benz C-class thread?

IMO threads in Hide-Out should be organized by different model generations. Big jumbo sized thread with European Focus Mk1 and Mk2 plus American Focus based on mechanicals of European Focus Mk1 but with entirely different sheet metal is too clumsy.

    But hell, it's your Hide-Out....

For the most part, I like it grouped by model, but posted in order by generation. It seems more like a historical book that way. In this case, I was just trying to end a disagreement. With as many threads as there now are in the hide-out, I've given up on there being one way to make threads or organize them. Keep posting as you always have.

A rather eclectic list of requests:

    - Oldsmobile Toronado (preferably the original 1966 model)
    - Honda Civic Mugen RR
    - Chevrolet Caprice (the one they sell in the Middle East that's actually a Holden Commodore or Statesman or whatever)
    - Chrysler 300 and 300C (standard, non SRT model)(are these pictures available in better resolution?)

They should all be on the Porsche Media site. I'll take a look for you over the weekend if I get a chance.

Found some standard 300C pictures. But not those. But i don't have access (yet) to the main press site.
I also found the Chevrolet Caprice (middle east version) Should i post those in the original chevrolet Caprice thread or should I make a Chevrolet Caprice (Middle-East) thread ? Maybe the last option makes more sense.
