    2003 Audi RS6

Ok, time for the official write-up.

    Specs:
2003 Audi RS6, Daytona Grey, black interior with silver piping, wood interior (kind of hoping for the carbon fiber choice, but nay.), standard 18" alloys, possibly being replaced by 19" RS4 issues, or painted body color match. 24,400 miles, well below the average. Pristine condition. Cold weather package. Phatnoise digital media storage system (pretty sweet system, basically like an ipod integration thing, except it has a harddrive cartridge similar to a Nintendo 64 cartridge, placed into a cradle in the trunk, as well as the 6 disk changer, and you browse through them using the normal radio selection.) Navigation...that's about it.

    Drive:
Yes, I'm allowed to drive it. (All off 1st hand experience ) And it's ludicrously fast. It does 0-60 in about no seconds flat. But really, if you're just cruising at around 30, and go to overtake someone that you're tailgaiting, you can be up to 60-70 by the time you reach their front bumper.

Nice strong bellow at start up and idle, replaced with a nice not-too mechanical but heavenly note all the way up to redline. Has paddles, auto, and tiptronic (all RS6's have all 3 drive modes) as well as a sport mode. If you're cruising and jab on the throttle it automatically downshifts and goes into paddle mode. Very cool.

Almost impossible to spin any of the wheels ever. even in the pouring rain, you can take a tight curve at around 55-60 perfectly safely while other drivers are going 30-ish. Even with traction control off and in the wet the tires are very firmly planted.

Handling is very taut, steering direct and responsive. Ride is actually extremely smooth while still being very sporty.

All around, 8.5/10 (lack of sound enhancing exhaust system option, and 18" wheels are too small, are seriously the only faults I can find with this car.)

Now for the pictures. Haven't had time to go out and do a proper shoot with it, so these will have to do.

This car needs nothing... It's nice the way it is.

Well, actually, the only thing it needs is me in the driver's seat

    Nice car my porsche.

    LM's. 19x9 and 19x10 should suffice.

Ah, BBS LM's. Do they make an anthracite one?

Vaigra, no, his other A6 2.7T was a quattro, and my mom's touareg is essentially a quattro, just not labelled as one. I think the traction has something to do with the fat tires combined with Quattro.

Argh I was hoping no one would ask for an egg nog.

My camera cable is missing, so when I go to the PCA race tomorrow I'll take an Egg Nog, no promises on when I can post it, all depends on how long it takes to find my M.I.A. cable.

But it shall come. This beast gets on average 12.9-13.2MPG. I like to call it The Lord of the Rings.
