OK, I don't have BC2, but now I definitely know I'd be a complete noob.

no shit me and whiteballz have been jumping up and down in front of a medic until he figured out to give us health. knowing to press select for that stuff helps though, i thought it was only for calling out enemies

Still haven't ponied up for Forza 3, but I got back onto Forza2 and was messing around with random cars in single player. Ran a Ford Focus in the 600hp invitational event against the Saleen S7 and such. I'm not the best driver, especially of FWD cars, but I still managed to run a 1.23.633 lap time at Laguna Seca. Rather proud of that, which saddens me.

try and rent it, i'm trading mine in for BC2 (along with both MW games).
the marine campaign is very generic and sort of dated, it works because
    A) you're killing aliens
    B) the atmosphere is spot on (you're being chased by aliens)
    C) there are ****ing aliens!

the aliens campaign is awesome. the only one where you're not frantically checking each corner but are in fact lurking in them, before dragging someone away (you can harvest civilians).
predator campaign is good too. each campaign covers mostly the same ground but at different times, which is kind of lazy, but also helps to set up things for the other campign (as marine, you wander through areas wondering why everyone is dead and the turrets are down, then you play as alien/predator.. oh i see that's why )
rent, play it through once or twice, that's all. worth the rental price.

Nice lol, and that's why i stoped playing Wow and AA, just to many noobs and 24h gamers to make it worthwhile or not frutrating for the ocasional gamer.

Oh, still playnig GTA4, started a new game, this time without cheats, waiting on The lost and the damned and The ballade of gay Tony. After that i'll get Mafia 2.
