    Supercar Information Society

This is the ''Supercar Information Society'', or SIS, founded by me. This threads purpose is for people who want to know something about a certain high performance car, to ask me for info - if you don't want to ask, don't obviously.

    Hope i can help.

(I know that people will probably say that ''there are already people here, who have been here for ages, who can answer any questions we may have.'' Yes, i do appreciate that, but, don't underestimate my knowledge just because i am new here. )

    So, ask away!

We will need a million pages to establish that.

The first supercar is a very arguable area. What would probably be termed the first supercar would probably be the original Lamborghini countach, or perhaps the Ferrari 288 GTO, most likely the Lambo, though. I would personally say that the first supercar was the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL gullwing '1954.

I think that that has satisfactorily condensed the 1million pages into 1, wouldn't you say?

Let's move off of this arguable subject and ask me another question...

Almost as many as definitions of a supercar.

I'll take this as my first supercar:
    http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...erati-v16.html

    Second question, what's a supercar?
third, what's the difference between a supercar and an hypercar?
fourth, why "super" car if then something else comes out and beat it?

    Obviously, all very arguable questions/answers.

fifth, I missed the purpose of this thread, please, elaborate.

I had something in mind like that, but I thought I would be considered biased
