Computer science in Tampere University of Technology, with no major decided yet as I've only studied it for a year. However the most interesting choice might be signal processing.
Wow it's interesting to see how many of you are into engineering/technology and media related stuff. I guess you'd kinda expect that from a site like this though. I'm at the University of Melbourne in my second semester (out of 12! ) studying medicine - hopefully to eventually become a specialist in emergency medicine or something of the like.

I'm currently working as an Assistant Manager at a big retailer (about $35 - 40k/year, depends on the amount of hours that you do). Getting your own store takes a couple of years of hard work, but the salary of a Store Manager is pretty damn good and includes a fat bonus.Originally Posted by baddabang
The work is tough though, and I have to be available 24/7. I work on holidays, weekends, etc.
Whether you make it in this area or not, at least one thing is for sure... You will become a very strong person. Management skills have affected my life a lot during these past 7 months. On one side you have to be courteous and with a lot of patience when taking care of customers' problems, and on the other hand, you have to be extremely tough when dealing with your employees. I have about 30 under my command, all of them making $7-$9 bucks an hour... at that rate nobody is willing to work hard, but you have to find ways to have them do so.
You also get to deal with vendors, inventory, finances, displays within the store, etc.
It's been really interesting and a great experience... Anybody who's looking into setting up their own business should definitely have experience in this area.
Graduated Seneca with Digital Media Arts diploma.

Has anyone heard how good California Institute of Technology(CalTech) is?
I am thinking that after I get my bachelors of science in Utah I might head over to Cali. and get my masters there but I don't know if it is a good school
I'm a real boy!
I have a cousin who goes there, its incredibly difficult to get into and is extremely hard to stay there once you get in. It's ranked among the top technological institues in the U.S. good luck and study hard. In this study its ranked 4th out of all the schools in America. Good luck! http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/col...udoc_brief.php
