    Honda CR-Z GT300 2012

    Just stumbled upon this car. Not sure how well it performs. I think it's still hybrid and it's fielded by Mugen.

    Probably the only version of the CR-Z I'd be interested in.

    I would infer from this image that it's also mid-engined... which is awesome!

    Wow, thanks for that shot, I assumed it would stay front engined.

    I wonder if there are any mid engined FWD cars.

    There are. At least one variant of the Saab Sonnet was.

    A lot of the bigger Citroëns up until at least the mid-70's were technically mid-engined/FWD. Although the engine was in front of the driver, it was still behind the front axel:

    Thanks for the info guys!

    I'm just curious if anyone was crazy enough to put an engine behind the driver and yet drive the front wheels.

    In a low powered car, I don't see why not- just place the transmission up front between the wheels.

    Engineering it would be all weird and everything though.
