Funny you mention the MKZ, because I think in overall form they are similar. Both the 200 and the MKZ have very fastback-like profiles. They look strange from the rear or rear 3/4. They remind me of a clam shell a bit, as does the CLA. The front and rear rake angle is much more alike than most other vehicles.
I was staring at the very odd rear/rear light cluster of an MKZ today on the way home today.
