Right I'll split them into hte 2 cars.
First.

I thought it was a Lotus 11 or a Lotus 15
But the 15 has a bonnet scoop. andh te rear wheel arch is wrong
The Lotus 11 looks most similar.
What does anyone think?

I looked at a Cooper Monaco . . . yes could be.
I thought of an Elva Mark 6 but the front air intakes aren't right.

I've no idea.

there are no Elva's with V8's (look at the twin exhausts..)

I hope you did study thoroughly the 50-60ties sportscars....in particualr Elvas. (and don't come up with the Fiore V8, because that is a coupe)

I didn't know that, however I wasn't saying this had a V8. What I was saying is that a dual exhaust isn't necessarily an indicative of a V8.

Fine, and you obviously also did not know that there are Elva-Porsches, which do have their exhaust fitted in a different way...

but the exhaust layout of the "mystery" car really points at a V8 engine, as used in the Cooper Monaco and some other cars...

Interestingly in 1980 Volvo unveiled a concept car also named VCC, only this time it meant Volvo Concept Car. The following 740 and 760 were based on it.
