I may be totally wrong here but I wouldn't be surprised if this car served as the basis of the Mr Pagani's products.

Yeah, those high mirrors look like it...

    Some more information:
    - it was mainly a safety study, made with Sauber C11 technology.
    - introduced on the 1991 Frankfurt autoshow
    - one of the first cars to feature an adapting moving spoiler

I doubt it, unless you mean in spirit.
Does it have a carbonfibre chassis?
The Pagani engine was a standard 6.0 V12 but with displacement upped to 7.3l, I think it is newer than the 6.0 in this car.
I don't see why it would be based on a car ~6/7 years old when the Pagani would have been first built.
    Thanks for all the fish

The spirit might be the best explanation, but I am sure Benz has been following the use of its big V12 in a sportscar, as it is rather ironic that 30% owned MacLaren's F1 is powered by a BMW engine

That was in the good old days before Ron sold out...
Best engine for the job was the brief, and if you want a good normally aspirated engine, BMW are the people to see.

I think there are quite a few other supercars that use the Mercedes V12, Isdera Commendatore 112i being one of them
    Thanks for all the fish
