I gotta say, everything of this Acura looks the part, but the engine configuration doesn't quite scream winner IMO....although they are only competing in ALMS this year, so they won't be facing off against the diesel from Audi/Peugeot other than at Sebring. Lesson from Judd seems to be that the bigger the displacement the more competitive a normally aspirated engine gets, from both reliability and power standpoint. A 4 liter V8 just doesn't seem to be the answer....
unless of course they are planning to run a hybrid as well down the line...

So the secret weapon of the Acura is the 4 "rear" tires on all 4 corners. Which according to them equates to 7% more contact patch overall. Other implication one would imagine is allowing them to carry more downforce.

Jesus,
Has the new prototype era begun? (allusion to Group C with C1 and C2)Le Mans - 44 prototypes have applied for entry - list out end of February
I was looking at the LMS entries on PLM and there are 49 total - only one down from last year. GT2 has tons of cars, as does P1 so it will probably be pretty cool.
Z_F, with the potential for Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, and Peugeot all battling in the near future at Le Mans, you could be almost be right.
