Congratulations on your purchase sir! I would definitely agree with what you mentioned regarding the looks, as IMO the NISMO 350Z definitely looks more handsome than the standard 350Z.

However, I do have a few questions:
    - What car does this Z happen to be replacing (if it is)?
    - I noticed you mentioned that you had driven 2 Caymans before. Were you cross-shopping this Z with the Caymans by any chance?
    - Are you going to build a 1/24 replica of this Z? (I believe Tamiya makes a kit for the exact car )
Buy a car for you, not for other people

    Tanx!

Nismo 350Z's were made in '07 and '08...there were 1606 made. It didn't replace anything it was just a special version...just like the Nismo 370Z.

I have two friends that have Cayman's, I drove those.

I'm sure I'll build a replica, I have the kit.

I think he meant if you are using the Z to replace any of your car....

Doh. I had a 2000 Contour SVT that I had owned since '02. It was still in great condition with 137k miles. Good all around car, good on fuel mileage.

This car makes me want to make a top 10 list!!! we should all contribute to a thread where we submit our favorite car on the forum. this cannot be your own car. once we get everyones nomination we make a pole and vote for the top 10!

    that would be cool!!!

That kind of thing has been done and done again, year in, year out. You can check out the Awards section to see what we voted as car of the year for various years.

We didn't do them this year, did we?

Thumbs up good sir. As a personal note I don't think the 350z is a design that stands a rear wing but if it's Nismo it serves a purpose.

So I maintain my raised opposable digit stance.

Congrats Dino, a prelude to a GTR?

Kudos on the score, Dino... the Nismo version is what Nissan should have produced itself.
Much prefer the nose over stock, the whole package looks better. Who needs a GTR?

IMO while the NISMO version looks plenty neat, there is nothing wrong with the stock look....the wheels pushed out to the arches and minimum overhang is pretty athletic looking...

This was sort of a homologation special as they are using this to homologate their GT500 nose at the time....though for the life of me I don't know why they bother since the GT500 cars are so crazy to start with...
