Well, nobody is buying cars now, and usually no one wants relatively affordable italian cars. So while at the dealer just haggle hard until you can afford it. Trust me, eventually you'll get to that point.
    LOL. awesome.

Nice, I love the look of those. I thought Lancia were coming to the UK with it, but so far I've only seen one Delta, it was on Italian plates at an Italian Car Trackday at Goodwood earlier in this year, looked fantastic in white/black. What's your spec like?

    An Executive?
What's that engine like? I've decided that I'm going to the local Alfa garage to have a go in a T-Jet MiTo sometime soon...

Very possibly best part of the car. It's a little 1400cc gem.

Beware though, it's not a diesel. So if you push you'll get 150bhp petrol engine like fuel consuption. Also small engine + high speed cruising = not a good combination.

Other than that brilliant, almost no turbo lag, refined and quite fast. I can only imagine that the new Multiairs in the Mito will be even better.

I can imagine, is the all important, typical Italian rorty exhaust note present though? My 1.4 is terrible for juice, but then I only really do short town trips, 35mpg on a long motorway + city trip recently... Who's car is the Delta exactly? Your uncle has the XF SV8, your aunt has your old MINI Cooper S, you have the 118d?

The Delta is a workhorse. Who ever needs it gets it.

When others are too impractical, small or posh the Delta steps in.

So, do you, your parents, your uncle and your aunt share all 4 of the cars?

What? Modern turbocharged small engine + motorway crusing = bad fuel economy? Does not compute.

You have a 6-speed box, yes? In 6th at motorway speeds, the revs should be low enough to stop the turbocharger wasting fuel...unless; because your turbocharger is small and starts spinning at lower revs than most, it's therefore activating even in 6th at motorway speeds?

I have heard great things: Now the Fiat group just needs some decent chassis, gearboxes etc.

What's your idea of high speed cruising?

Italian cars are a lot of fun despite all their faults.

Well...you might have to swap that Delta for an 8C first:
