I kind of doubt Porsche will allow it, but stranger things have happened.

Not so sure it will appeal to quite the same type of buyer the current TT attracts, seeing how it will have less stowage space, but that may not be such a bad thing.

In terms of outright sales numbers though, I don't necessarily think it's a good idea. From an enthusiast's point of view though, I hope the rumors are true.

I see it competing with the likes of the Porsche Boxster and perhaps offering better performance. Don't see it happening.

Now, regarding the mid-engined TT, I think it's absolutely badass if they decide to go through with it.

Anyway I don't think it is any more than a rumour. The development costs would be much higher and the market segment it is in, is not that looking for a bad-ass sportscar.

More like Cayman/Boxster. And I don't see it happening, too close to Cayman/Boxster and probably why change a winning receipe as far as profits are concerned?

Nothing wrong with a baby R8. I don't see it happening, if Porsche acquires VW/Audi, but hey, who am I to complain? Besides, if it comes with AWD and enough power, it'll be different than the Boxster. Plus, it doesn't have to be called a upmarket less practical VW Golf anymore, now that we have the Scirroco, or however you spell that confounding that segment further.

i don't see it happening, going mid-engined would mean switching markets and then there would be the developement costs
i dont see it happening unless there's going to be VW stablemate and that sounds unlikely

Well considering that it's a hatchback, it probably isn't so bad.

And then you have the space between the headlights, plus the little bit between the two seats and the engine.

I'm sure if you try hard enough anything will fit.
