    and he had some intresting mercs and a porsche 924

    drinking and cars aren't the 2 main themes , chemical industry is the third one.

    It's the A59, or the Golf to take on the Celica GT-Four and the Escort RS Cosworth. Unfortunately nothing came out of it.

    Yay, I was correct about the other car.

    But wait, wouldn't that probably be the R32 today, based on lineage?

    Nope more like 4 wheel drive GTI. But it was meant to be a Group A homologation special for rallying. Much like the Delta HF Integrale was in its days or a bit like the current Evo X and Impreza STI.

    Interesting.

    Would like to see the Delta Integrale back though.

    VW doesn't do any rallying today right, besides the Touareg?

    They did have a Polo S1600. And I believe a Polo S2000 has been developed too. Altough mostly campaigned in national championships.

    By the way the Touareg isn't rallying. They are doing Radis with it.
