If we are taking the tack of bad-ass then it would be something Like a 2.9 Alfa Romeo, or maybe a Stradale. A Duesenberg SJ might get in there somewhere too.

in this bad-ass case the original Cobra would score high. Possibly also a Fiat Abarth 2000 OT Coupe.

Cobra is a good choice. It has to be the 427 S/C though.
I'd also choose the 930 Turbo probably.
