    Hennessey 1000 viper vs. TVR Cerbera Speed 12

    This comparison is between a Dodge Viper Hennessey 1000 and a TVR Cerbera Speed 12. Both look great and are among the most powerfull cars on the road. Which would be better on the road, the track, and on a straight road with no end in sight? Ok here are the specs.

    TVR Speed 12 CERBERA (2006)
    Power = somewhere over 960 bhp
    Torque = 780 ft/lbs
    Weight = 2205 lbs
    Engine = twin v6 (v12) N/A
    0/60 = 2.6s
    Top Speed = above 240

    Dodge Hennessey Viper Venom 1000TT (2006)
    Power = 1000 bhp
    Torque = 1100 ft/lbs
    Weight = 3420 lbs
    Engine = V10, Twin Turbo
    0/60 = 2.9s
    Top Speed = 255 (estimate)

    TVR ftw. If you buy that thing you're pretty much paying for death. Kind of like cigarrettes but will kill you much quicker.

    if I'm not mistaking there was only one of the cerberas made that you are talking about which in my opinion totally makes this unfair and gives it a huge advantage. it was in a issue of evo from about two years ago when the sagaris was released.

    unfair in the sense that its a one of car that wasn't even originally to be for the public, unless its a different model than the one in EVO but the one in the picture is the one in EVO.

    On the road the Viper would be better, but everywhere else the TVR is better, seeing as though it's more than a 1000lbs lighter

    TVR. The Hennessey may be exclusive and excessively powerful, but it's still a Viper. And Viper are not that exceptional. The TVR is the definition of exclusive.

    the TVR. henessey is a dick by all accounts, and anyway i actually prefer the standard viper to the turbo ones.
