of course this is all ridiculous and i dont need any of it, but its going to be alot of fun...no doubt in my mind
I hope you're a conservative driver because with that much power in a light, RWD vehicle, it's going to take some serious expertise driving it fast.

I'm not big into modifying truck but that sounds pretty nice. Are you getting a new or an engine from a wrecked Cobra? The reason I ask is that a new SVT S/C V8 probably costs more than a Ranger. Best if its a salvage.

it has the lightning 5.4L V8 supercharged http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...g_bolt_ranger/

once the chassis has been strenghtened and the 100 pound bed cover is on, plus 12 inch wide tires on the rear, it should be good enough im not going for fastest time, i just want it to roar and make smoke mountains
Nice, I like that blue truck.
Where are you going to get the crate engine? The only 4.6L DOHC crate engine Ford still sells is the NA version in the Mach 1.

Supercharged 4.6L from SVT Cobra = 390hp/390tq IRRC. Still, it is A LOT of power.

mmm. i think it looks amazing. I'm looking at some bermuda black tail lights for my 94 Blazer. Quite a burn in the pocket though, about the cheapest i've found have been about 150. If you drop a v8 in this......i wanna see it, like in person.

I absolutely loathe your tail lights. But if they make you happy, go for it.
