    My 350Z

So I finally bought this baby yesterday. 2007 Base Model with 19k miles for under US $20k. It doesn’t have any kind of electric seats, heating seats, and buttons on the steering wheel for cruise control and stereo functions… what it does have is 306HP and 268 pound-feet of torque, 6-speed manual, and a 0-60 in the low 5s!

I looked for a long time for the right Z since I really wanted an 07+ model.
    '07+ = 306hp, 268torque
    '06 = 300hp, 260torque
    '03-'05 = 287hp, 274torque

The ’07 also has a nice bump on the hood, 18” wheels, and a different engine

    Here’s an 03-06 engine:

    Here’s an 07+ engine:

I drove it home under heavy Florida rain on the highway and doing 70-80mph felt like nothing, this is on a completely different level than what I’m used to… It also feels good the fact that you can be going 60mph on 5th gear, punch the gas a bit and the car MOVES... It's a bit scary, it hits the redline at 7500rpms and I believe I haven't even been at 6000rpms yet

I haven’t really had the chance to test the car 100% yet (as I said it was pouring rain when I left the dealer), but I surely will and will have more to write in the future.

I was a bit sad to see the Civic go, so many things happened in that car, it took me to so many places, so many of my friends and friends that I haven’t seen in years rode in that car, hell I even learned how to drive manual in that car… Farewell little Civic…

Here are some photos of the car, keep in mind that it rained last night and haven't had a chance to clean it. Also, I had to work later in the morning so I snapped all the photos in about 20 minutes... I managed to get some HDRs Enjoy..

looks very nice... take her out and give it some stick. (although i am sure thats what you did to and from work, and any oher chance you got to drive her.)

perchance does yours have a shift light? mine does, and i didnt know if the Z has it or not. and those are definitely not the OEM tires.

It does and it can be adjusted so that it starts blinking at the rpms of your choice, pretty cool, I had no idea the car had that feature.

    Thanks for the comments guys

    Congrats.
That silver looks much better in the real world than in the studio shot you showed in the other thread.
Interior is meh, but it don't matter.
I am surprised how good it looks(condition-wise).

with a wife as hot as yours, she neednt worry about you straying. it will be a good car for the tw of you to pull up to the clubs you always seem to be heading to. a lot better than a civic.

Thing is... I always get wasted, so we'll still be taking her Automatic Scion Xa so she can drive back home hehehe.

is that plastic cover over the engine necessary? or does it come off? just curious (holden has something similar but it's flimsy as, just comes off)
