    Coachbuilder section

    Good day,

In between getting the North American International Auto Show features online, we have worked on a feature that hopefully will please the fans of classic cars. It is a special section dedicated to coach builders. Each of the coach builders represented in the car database has received a separate page with a little bit of information on that particular coach builder and the cars clothed by them. The collecting of data on these coach builders is still very much a work progress, but we have come a long way thanks to the help of members henk4 and Sauc3.
The general section can be accessed through the 'Features' tab through which a coach builder can be selected. In the spec table of the cars there are also links to specific coach builders in the 'Body design' row.

    Here are some samples:

We hope you enjoy the new feature. If you have any remarks or suggestions for future features, don't hesitate to post them.

    Thanks and regards,
    Wouter Melissen

Actually, as much as I hate to admit it, the idea was Fredrik's (LotusLocost).

    Brilliant idea.

Speaking of which, what's the name of the company started by two ex employees of Murphy after Murphy closed?

We all know Fredrik is the real mastermind behind this website. I mean, he had polar bear suits for every major step in his life for God sakes. Everyone knows you can dominate the world when dressed like a polar bear.

Seriously now, yeah, very good idea.

Yes the list is restricted to the coach builders we actually feature cars from.
