    Engine bay thread

    post up interesting/good looking engine bays, unusual engine conversions, etc etc.
    hell there's a ton in UCP's archives, go go go!

    i seem to have a lot of honda stuff

    also, twin engined mini and an MX-5.
    also with the VW pic, no idea how that wiretuck stuff works if something breaks, must be major pain in the ass to fix

    yeah i'm not sure what the deal is, this is kinda similar too.
    i'll assume they know what they're doing, i got told it gives a lot of torque that way??

    i'd imagine it'd just be a shared throttle linkage etc, the car is AWD (well, FWD...X2) so i don't see how two throttle would help, lol. i am curious though.

    The only thing I'm not sure how to do in a twin engined mini is how to get gear shifting working on the rear engine.. surely routing gear linkages around to the other side of an engine can't result in a good gear selection action. Unless they used an auto box I 'spose...
