    Yeah that's what I recall it being - it was on Jalopnik a long while back.

    I did some digging and came across a forum there a guy claimed it was his - he said it was a Jag motor (I recall reading elsewhere it was an XJS) but he'd done significant work lightening it; 100 lbs of smog shit being one example. Someone on the forum claimed it was a 700 lb engine and the supposed builder said he had it down to 450 lbs.

    So take from that what you will.

    well, still lighter than an RB series engine then

    Yeah I remember UCP's investigation into the weight of the RB. That was a fun discussion as I recall.

    yeah but they sure sound nice. it's just, if i wasn't looking for big power, i'd sure as shit look elsewhere haha.
    imo they are damn good in the cars they came in but i personally would never swap one into an S12/13/14/15 etc etc.
