I'd take the S2k personally, if only because I'd hate being an si driver. Like others said, get it checked out.

Agreed, also for city driving, the S2K is not the best car, its rough and you have to rev it to the sky to move.

You could get the optional hardtop for the S2000, if you're afraid if it getting knifed (which I would be). Plus, I don't really like convertibles, I'm more of a coupe guy anyway.

But the S2000 might be the less practical choice. Your call, really.

For some reason I have a hard time believing that an Si sedan with a CAI/header/exhaust can pull harder than an S2000... Did you rev it all the way to 9000rpms?

I would at least look for an '04+. 2.2L instead of 2.0L, new exhaust tips, new taillights. Sexier imo and with a bigger displacement.

    trade trade trade!

you are driving a lame car right now (no offense just being dramatic) and you could trade it in for a pretty sweet car with similar mileage?! how are you even asking us this?!

in seriousness though, a lot depends on what you need the car for. if you have a family and need to lug stuff around. stick with your civic. otherwise, get the s2k

    totally agree....

s2000's are beasts. light and they have some serious kick. weird kick but they kick. they'd give by g35 a big run on the highway (havn't messed with one yet) and i bet you it'd whoop cmc's coupe around too. they are not to be under estimated. niko's Z would probably give it a run. so for you to say your si pulls harder i highly doubt it but i'm no expert.

like has been said, it takes a lot of rev management. they are great if you can keep them on the vtec. i have seen them autox many times, and on high speed set ups they dominate, if it is a tight track, they fall on their ass. in the right situation they would be quicker than the Z cars, but not always. s2k=/=torque

If I was in your situation, i would go trade the Honda on a BMW 135i. Or an older used M3.
